Stillwater is designed primarily for two guests. It is best suited for couples, anniversaries, birthdays, proposals, solo retreats, and peaceful getaways.
Yes. Pets are welcome with a $50 fee per stay.
Please keep pets off the furniture when possible, clean up after them, and be mindful that Stillwater is a nature property with woods, wildlife, open water, and uneven ground. There is a crate on-site that they must use when left alone. They must also have flea and tick treatment. Dogs over 75 lbs. are prohibited as the space just doesn't accommodate dogs of that size.
Yes. A cleaning fee is added at checkout so the space can be properly reset between stays.
No. Stillwater does not currently require a security deposit.
Cancellations made 14 days or more before arrival receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made 13 days or less before arrival are non-refundable.
Check-in and check-out times will be listed in your booking confirmation and arrival instructions. Early check-in or late check-out may be available depending on the schedule, but must be approved in advance.
Stillwater uses self check-in. Before your stay, you will receive arrival details and your door code. The door code is typically the last four digits of the phone number used for your booking.
Before leaving, please make sure the door is locked, all fires are fully out, trash is placed where instructed, and used towels are left in the bathroom. You do not need to strip the bed or start laundry.
Stillwater is primarily designed as an adults-only retreat. Because the property includes open water, wooded areas, uneven terrain, and outdoor features, children are only allowed by special request and must be approved before booking.
Yes. Stillwater has Wi-Fi, but the purpose of the space is to help you slow down and disconnect from the noise of everyday life. Streaming and basic use are available, but we always recommend bringing a book, a journal, or simply letting the quiet do its work.
Yes. Stillwater includes the essentials for a comfortable stay, including coffee, tea, basic cooking tools, a cooktop, air fryer, bread maker, and other simple comforts. It is not a large traditional kitchen, but it is well-equipped for a cozy getaway.
Yes. Stillwater has a wood-fired barrel sauna. Instructions will be provided before your stay. Please use it responsibly, never leave fire unattended, and allow yourself time to slow into the experience.

The pond is part of the Stillwater experience. Fishing is welcome, and guests should use caution around the water at all times. Swimming is at your own risk.
Yes, fires are allowed only in designated areas and when local conditions permit. Please never leave a fire unattended, and make sure all fires are completely out before going inside or leaving the property.
